All it is, is giving yourself less time to eat.
What's much more important is that you're making better food choices and creating better habits.
You're buying better foods.
You're cooking your own food.
THAT is going to give you life skills, and ensure that you are not consuming vegetable oils, seed oils, processed sugar, grains, gluten, and all that crap.
It all starts with your habits.
Are you going to a restaurant?
Are you going through a drive-through like a crackhead going around a back alley of a building and having someone hand you a greasy bag of garbage out the window?
Is that what you're doing?
Or are you buying the actual ingredients and cooking yourself up a delicious steak, a burger patty, or some eggs?
Are you making your own food?
You don't need all these extra additives.
You need fundamental nutrient-dense foods.
Quality over quantity every single day of the week.
Yes, energy balance matters.
Yes, calories matter.
But those issues of overeating will largely solve themselves when you make better food choices.
Eating nutrient-dense food will satisfy you with less quantity.
Not to mention you won't have all the side effects of allergic reactions and autoimmune responses to eating poison.
Make better food choices.
Focus on food quality.

Make better food choices first.
And if you don't want to eat until 2:00 pm, that's your choice.
